Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin is used medically to treat certain muscular conditions, and cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles. Your trained nurse uses a thin needle to inject tiny amounts of botulinum toxin into your skin or muscles.
The number of injection shots needed depends on the size of the treatment area. These are the treatment areas cosmetically used with botulinum toxin in our clinic: Forehead, Between Eyebrows, Upper Eyebrow, Crow’s Feet, Bunny Lines, Dimpled Chin, Smile Lines, Neck Bands, Non-Surgical Nose Job, Botox Lip Flip, Gummy Smile Treatment, Temporomandibular Joint Disfunction.
Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. It helps keep skin plump and hydrated.
HA fillers are typically soft and gel-like. The results are temporary, lasting 6 to 12 months or longer before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles.
Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. These are the areas we treat with fillers in our clinic: lip enhancement/symmetry correction, cheek augmentation, jaw augmentation/definition, tear trough, smile lines, chin augmentation/definition.
Contraindications for dermal filler treatments include:
Acne
Herpes
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Diabetics
Inflammation of the skin
Known allergies to any of the ingredients.
Hypertrophic scars
Previous use of permanent fillers
Previous facial surgery
